Weatherization Energy Auditor

Purpose of Position: Conduct energy audits, final inspections, maintain budgets cost and process client folders that require documentation.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Ability to travel within, and outside of, Marion County

Attend training and attain Weatherization Certifications within 9 months and 45 days of employment

Conduct audits to determine required health, safety, mechanical, architectural, and air reduction measures to be performed

Work with other weatherization staff to ensure that steps of service for assessments are enforced and maintained

Data entry of assessments

Maintain production goals

Understand and comply with Energy Efficiency programs

Complete production paperwork including but not limited to: mileage, time recorders, gas receipts, assessment and quality control paperwork

Ability to work with little or non-supervision

Ability to work well with co-workers and people of various cultures and backgrounds

 

Job Requirement:

High school graduate or equivalent (GED)

Basic Knowledge of residential construction

Must be able to lift, push, pull or carry a minimum of 20 lbs. and work from a ladder

Good math, verbal and written skills

Basic computer skills

Great people skills

Must be self-disciplined show initiative and displays god judgement

Valid Indiana driver’s license and insurance coverage
